Baby Shower

I am so lucky to have such great friends! A few weeks ago they threw my youngest a baby shower and it was awesome. They put so much work into the details. It was based off the book Where the Wild Things Are. I have not been to such a cute shower in awhile. Unfortunately I was enjoying myself too much to take many photos - I only got a few...

On the front door when you entered:


All the balloons in the home were green and blue and instead of having ribbon tied to them, it was twine. So creative

My sister Jules made these awesome sugar cookies. I keep telling her she should sell them on etsy. Maybe one day - they are to die for!


One of my only pics of my sweet angel from the night. He is seriously the best baby I have had so far. I finally understand what parents mean when they say they just want to rock and hold their baby all the time. He is the best baby!


Thank you for throwing such a wonderful and memorable shower. I will remember all the "wild" things you had everyone reveal. And of course - it wouldn't have been a party without all my friends and family that came! It was a great night.

My friends sister is pregnant with twins and asked me to take her maternity photos. I was beyond honored. Sadly her little girl has passed away, so she is caring her little boy as long as she can. She had such a positive attitude and was so sweet. I can tell she has a great heart and going to be a wonderful mother. Chey is going to be a rockin aunt too! :)

Charitable Photography in Orange County

I had the opportunity a few weeks ago to donate my time to take photos at the Newport Beach March of Dimes walk. It's my second year to do it - and I love seeing all the surviving newborns and those walking for loved ones they have lost. It helps you realize what's important in life.






These two nursing students were on a corner and we started talking. The one on the left was actually my nurse for one of the days that I was at the hospital (during my 3 week stay prior to having C). Small world.

Orange County LDS Wedding Photography

I met this groom 4 years ago while doing his family's portrait. Fast forward to today - his dad called me to see if Brian and I were available to do their wedding photography. Of course we were more than thrilled! When the couple walked out of the temple - wow! L (the bride) was stunning! Brian kept asking me if I recognized her - or if I thought she looked like someone. Later we figured out that she looked like Katie Holmes. Especially in person! :)

This was a perfect scenario. We got ample time with the bride and groom - and because of this - we ended up with tons of photos that we LOVE. We walked around the temple, went to the beach for photos of the two of them - then went to their reception. Here are some photos of the two of them!
