I met this groom 4 years ago while doing his family's portrait. Fast forward to today - his dad called me to see if Brian and I were available to do their wedding photography. Of course we were more than thrilled! When the couple walked out of the temple - wow! L (the bride) was stunning! Brian kept asking me if I recognized her - or if I thought she looked like someone. Later we figured out that she looked like Katie Holmes. Especially in person! :)

This was a perfect scenario. We got ample time with the bride and groom - and because of this - we ended up with tons of photos that we LOVE. We walked around the temple, went to the beach for photos of the two of them - then went to their reception. Here are some photos of the two of them!

I have known M's mom for a few years now working with National Charity League. Such a sweet family! M needed some photos for graduation and rush and I was more than happy to help out. Can't wait to see you guys again in the fall for family photos!

Our third little guy was getting blessed in church - so I made this as a canvas for our home. We also used it for the front of the invitation. I love canvas gallery wraps. I think they are so clean looking!

This was one of the quickest sessions ever! This little guy could not stop smiling. I don't think I have ever seen such a happy baby. :) (Maybe my third will be like this - time will tell). I love seeing these two grow up - I only wish I saw them more often.

How sweet is she? She is getting baptized this weekend, so we did a special portrait session without her siblings. Just her. :)

Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep - St. Joseph's Hopsital in Orange

I got a call a week ago from a mother in tears. Her daughter was pregnant with identical twin boys and one had not survived the pregnancy. The other was scheduled to be delivered via c-section in about a week. They had contacted Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep and found me as the photographer they wanted for this time in their life. I did this a few months ago when I was first pregnant with C. No one knew I was pregnant, hormones were crazy, but I felt like I had to donate my time to this couple that was dealt such a hard thing in life at the moment. I got a few more calls while I was pregnant, but because I was so big, I recommended I probably not be the photographer so that the couple is not offended of my appearance. I was glad I was able to donate my time to THIS couple. After yesterday, everything seems to stand still. I sit back and reflect on what is important in life. I am so grateful for my family. Sometimes I think life rushes by so quickly, I get into a routine, and I forget to stop and absorb everything I have been blessed with. I know this is a hard time for the H family - and that they will never move on - but hopefully with time they will be able to move forward.

4 weeks after having C - this was the second wedding I shot. The couple is great and very relaxed. They had Allan from APC Entertainment for their DJ and Don Johnson as their officiant. It was a great team! We absolutely LOVE working at Tivoli Terrace and Tivoli Too! The staff there is awesome and the couples seem to be very happy about their big day when they get married there. :) All in all - a great Friday wedding! Thanks K & R for a wonderful night.

When I was hospitalized in January for 3 weeks - we had an engagement session with this great couple. Instead of rescheduling, they decided to go ahead and have Brian do it for them. Our friend Michael from Mae Photography came out and shot with him. Thank you so much! We owe you one! :) They did the engagement session at one of my favorite spots - Mission San Juan Capistrano. This couple was a BLAST! We walked all around Balboa Peninsula and wish we had more time than the sun let us. Note to self - if we are going to walk around A LOT by the arcade - I need to plan for more than an hour. This couple have the coolest personalities - and like to joke around a lot. The bride pulled a gazillion faces - it was hilarious. We can't wait for their wedding in August!









I laughed hard when they "kissed" with their new lips
