What a difference a haircut makes..... :)

Tyler did very well. I had my mom watch Brian while I took him to Cool Cuts for Kids because last time - Tyler screamed - not whined, cried, or whimpered, but SCREAMED the entire time. This time - he was great. I read a gazillion books and tried to keep him occupied with every animal noise I could think of -

The things we do to keep our kids behaved in public. :)

Los Angeles LDS Temple wedding photography - Lost Angeles, CA

Los Angeles Wedding ~
This wedding was beautiful! The couple got married at the LDS Los Angeles temple and had their reception in La Crescenta. I LOVED the brides flowers! Again - a few months late - but trying to play catch up. :)

The beautiful red headed bride. :)

St. Catherine of Siena parish wedding photography - Laguna Beach, CA

Very pretty church, check it out - St. Catherine's Church in Laguna Beach
This couple was such a fun couple. We hadn't met them before the actual day because the bride called and just booked over the phone. He has been serving for our country and I have so much respect for him (and appreciate everything the service men do for us!). They got married in Feb - so sorry it's so late - still fun to take a peak though, right? :)

Getting Ready

Isn't the ring bearer so cute! :)

One of the officiants has been a family friend since the bride was really little. It's always neat when they have ties like that in the ceremony.

Photography studio remodel

Like I mentioned earlier - things are changing significantly for Jennifer Gilmore Photography. First things first - we are doing a complete remodel on the studio (so it's hard to meet clients - but we find other spots). I found a couple shots I took of the studio last summer -it had changed a little since this - but it will have to do as the "before shots" for now.

Standing towards the backdrop roll. The door to the left is what you entered through.

Now you are standing where the subject would stand when getting their photo taken. The bathroom is to the left of the lights

I don't have photos of the cabinets or sink that was in the corner.

I'll try to post more updates soon. :)

Easter was fun this year. The boys loved easter egg hunting. We first went to a party on Saturday at the park. Brian was working - so I toughed it myself. I made it through the hunt, but Tyler was not being too good - so we left before the Easter Bunny.

Then we went to my parents house for all the grandkids to decorate eggs for Sunday.

Montage beach engagement photography session - Dana Point, CA

So - I had another blog - but I always had to update from one specific computer - so I couldn't update as often as I wanted to. Hopefully now I will update more frequently because I can post from anywhere. :) The slow part of my year has ended and many new changes are going to be made this year - from a new studio, new logo, to brand new products offered. I am SO excited for the changes and hope to see you around soon!

This couple was so sweet. It was such a windy day - and they kept their cool with hair blowing everywhere. :) Such a small world too - the groom to be went to school with my younger sister. Always fun to find connections! :)
