The Island Hotel wedding photography - Newport Beach, CA

This couple was SO great to work with. The wedding was absolutely beautiful! We got to work with Barbara Wallace - an AMAZING wedding coordinator. If you don't have one - she is one of a kind! :) The wedding was at The Island Hotel in Newport Beach and not only were the bride and groom so sweet - so were all of their guests. It was also the first time the mother of the bride offered Brian and I a centerpiece. How sweet is that? :)

Her dress was amazing!

This wedding was at Tivoli Terrace and the couple was great! So cute! Their DJ Huey referred us and we were so honored to be a part of their day. There are a few photos - so prepare yourself. :)

Okay - lots of posts - some very out dated - but I said I would do it - so I have to. :)

Here are photos from last month (I know) - July 4th.
We went to a tribute in the morning and a breakfast - Me - Tyler, Kylie, Brian, Jeffrey and my mom!

Brian LOVED the fireworks - Tyler closed his eyes so tightly and squeezed my sister like he was never going to let go.

Another Entry for the Pancakte Pete/Patty Contest - we are getting towards the end of summer and hope to receive more entries soon!

Shelbie Smith took Pancake Patty with her to her family reunion in Virginia. While there she visited Bristol Caverns. The caverns are 200,000,000 years old. We wanted Pancake Patty to go deep into the ground and learn about how the Indians used the caverns as an attack and escape route when raiding the settlers. Pancake Patty saw lots of stalactites and stalagmites and some formations that looked like Snoopy, Dino the dinosaur, a nativity scene and many more fun things.
We hope others take Pancake Patty to far-away, adventuresome places so we can read about her adventures too!.

Children's photography session @ our garden studio Newport Beach, CA

I know it's been awhile - as always - things have been hectic. I am going to have quite a few posts in the next few days. Everything from our family vacation & the 4th of July to numerous shoots I have been doing this month. Here is a quick shot of one I did the end of June - she is such a cutie! I got to photograph her parents wedding, when she was in her mother's womb, then when she was a newborn. I wish they lived closer so we could see her more often!

My cousins come to the beach every year the last week in June for their family vacation. We try to go out there as much as possible inbetween naps, work and everything else. :) Here are some photos of the boys playing around.

Orange County Performing Arts Center children's photography session - Costa Mesa, CA

Fun kids in a grown-up location. :)
We wanted something more unique - so we headed over to the performing arts area for pix. The mom is going to be having her fourth baby any day - so we wanted to get some photos before things get hectic in their house (not to say that they may not be already!) :) Such sweet kids - we had a lot of fun. I was actually rolling in the grass with them. I sure do love my job! Working with kids makes me be a kid again and I love it!

She looks so sweet - one of my favorites of the whole shoot.
